Kaleidoscope Day 2

27th October, 2022 – The second day was based in Jerusalem and involved a fascinating lecture by Mike Prashker, a social entrepreneur and founder of Merchavim the Institute for the Advancement of Shared Citizenship in Israel, visits to the Jerusalem Intercultural Centre on Mount Zion headed by former Habonim leader Daniel Hasson, the Muslala Food Rescue Project based at the Jerusalem wholesale vegetable and fruit market and a project called Sinsila in East Jerusalem which has helped hundreds of women to become bee keepers on the (flat) roofs of their homes.
